Every magical place begins with a dreamer, and ours is Mr. Lợi – a son of Ninh Bình whose heart never left these limestone valleys. After years of managing one of the area’s most beloved eco-lodges, where he became legendary for his boundless warmth and ability to make every guest feel like family, Lợi carried a vision that wouldn’t let him rest. “I wanted to create something different,” he recalls, gazing out at the karst peaks that cradle our retreat. “Not just another hotel, but a home where the world could experience the Ninh Bình I grew up in – the one tourists rarely see.”

Together with his wife, chị Dung, and a devoted team of family and friends from Bình Khê Village, Lợi spent months bringing this dream to life. Local craftsmen wove bamboo ceilings by hand, neighbors helped plant frangipani trees and dig the lotus pond, and every wooden beam, every garden path, every carefully placed stone was a labor of love from this tight-knit community. When we officially opened our doors on April 30, 2023, it wasn’t just the birth of a retreat – it was the culmination of a village’s shared dream. Today, anh Lợi and chị Dung live on-site, greeting each guest personally, sharing stories over homemade rice wine, and ensuring that everyone who arrives as a stranger leaves as family.
